My undergraduate studies at Stellenbosch University were a unique blend of Geoinformatics (GIT) and Information Science. This dual focus allowed me to delve into the exciting world of spatial data analysis and information management.

The Geoinformatics program provided me with a strong foundation in geographic science, computer science, and geospatial technologies like GIS and remote sensing. I learned how to collect, analyze, and interpret spatial data, equipping me to tackle real-world challenges with a geographic component, such as environmental issues, resource management, and urban planning.

Information Science, on the other hand, broadened my understanding of information systems, information retrieval, and knowledge organization. This knowledge allows me to effectively organize and access information, making it a valuable complement to my spatial analysis skills.
