I have over fifteen years’ Media Relations, External Affairs and Business Management experience, having worked across a wide variety of sectors, most recently in banking and telecoms. I have extensive experience maintaining a professional and well-organised External Affairs function as well as running a C-Suite department as Business Manager. I am detail-oriented, tenacious, have an exceptional work ethic and thrive in pressurised environments - coordinating and consulting with diverse stakeholders, across different markets and with clearly planned objectives and deliverables. I have an excellent understanding of the telecoms and banking industries.

In my current role as Business Manager to the Vodacom Group Chief Technology Officer (GCTO), I am responsible for managing all governance, reporting and logistics requirements for the GCTO office across 8 African markets including South Africa. At a high level, this entails managing HR related issues, itinerary planning, Exco reporting, problem solving, co-ordinating and managing all reporting and Governance requirements and ensuring the smooth running of the Technology department day to day. In my current and former roles at Vodacom, I work closely with our Vodafone head office in London and I consult daily at Vodacom Group Exco level. I am comfortable working closely with C-Suite executives.

In 2021, I completed my Master of Arts in Global Diplomacy at the University of London SOAS, which examines how South African land reform policy has impacted the country’s diplomatic relationship with the United States. I graduated with Distinction. Prior to that I obtained a Bachelor of Journalism Honours degree from Rhodes University.
