Lervashni Padayachee

I am an admitted attorney practicing as such at Venns Attorneys in Pietermaritzburg. I am currently working in the litigation department, where I have been exposed to banking, financial and commercial litigation. What sets me apart is my strong commitment to excellence, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively, both independently and as a part of a team. I am a quick learner with a passion for the law and a drive to deliver high quality legal services to clients. I am proactive, goal orientated and dedicated to continuous learning and growth. Throughout my career thus far, I have showcased the ability to meet and far exceed both client and team expectations. I regard myself as a candidate that is agile and adaptable to any work environment and seek every opportunity to create an impact.

My legal journey began in 2020, with Venns Attorneys at their Durban branch during my first year of articles. I then moved to the Pietermaritzburg branch during my second year of articles in 2021. During February 2022, I was admitted as an attorney and retained as a litigation associate at the Pietermaritzburg branch. My growth at the firm has been extensive, from being exposed to public law, insurance law, general litigation, foreclosures and vehicle and asset finance, both in the defended and undefended space. Whilst having this exposure, I was able to expand my network, engage with various individuals from various walks of life, including those in the public/private sectors, major financial institutions as well as a host of private individuals.
