I am a passionate Strata Control Officer with over 10 yearsʼ experience in the Mining Industry
within the Rock Engineering Department. I started in gold mining as a Strata Control Trainee in
September 2012 and obtained my COM Certificate in Strata Control in March 2014. I completed
Paper 3.3 (Massive Mining) in the COM Certificate in Rock Mechanics in October 2016 with a mark
of 81%. During my period on the Gold Mines in the Free State and in the Bushveld Complex I
obtained vast experience in Quality Control, Geotechnical investigations, Mine Layouts & Design
and Support design. I am a strong mining professional specializing in Hard Rock Tabular
Conventional Mining, Massive Mining(SLOS), Board and Pillar as well as Open Cast.
