I am 63 years old, healthy, active and have very good management qualities and organizational abilities because I owned and managed a labor intensive farm in the Limpopo province, Potgietersrus district.  I have knowledge and experience in the management and cultivation of the following crops namely tobacco, cabbage, tomatoes, lettuce, cotton, wheat, sunflower and maize.  I am familiar with soil preparation, weed control, fertilization and pest control on mentioned crops.  Some of these crops were cultivated under drip irrigation, center pivot and dry land which leaves me with knowledge of construction of zinc dams, installation of boreholes pumps, suction pumps, diesel engines and electric motors, the lay of asbestos and PVC mother pipe lines, ring filters, sand filters and the service of windmills.  I have done light repair and maintenance on tractors, implements, trailers and light trucks.  I built several farm buildings and created fences.  The livestock factor consisted out of cattle and bore goats.  I am familiar with their diseases, dehorning and the use of burdizzo.  I have an EC pdp (HGV) drivers license and can ride a motorcycle very well.  In terms of cleanliness, I am above average on the farmyard, fields and farm equipment.
