I am currently working for the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic) as the Deputy Director Research within the Policy and legislation Division of the department. I am responsible for conducting research around policy development, review and implementation of various pieces of legislations that govern different sectors of the South African economy. I have experience in conducting qualitative and quantitative research, regulatory impact assessments and compiling research reports. I also have skills around coordination of activities around formulation of research agenda for the division. I also have experience working with stakeholders through coordination of Research forums/seminars which are information and knowledge sharing platforms attended mainly by researchers, policy makers, legislative drafters, regulators and legal practitioners. 

Experienced researcher on policy and legislation issues. have research skills to conceptualize research projects and manage implementation of the projects until to the end.

Experienced in writing research concept documents, terms of reference and articles for publications.

Experience in communicating research findings to various stakeholders.
