About Lee Ntombela:
I have over 15 years of experience working in the Higher Education Sector, specifically at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) where I have gained technical, administration and leadership skills. I started out as a Laboratory Technician and worked my way up to a leadership position in the School of Health Sciences, as a Principal Programme Officer. I have proven leadership capabilities and manage a team of Academic Development Officers, Undergraduate & Postgraduate Officers. My experience includes supporting the School with managing small contracts for service providers needed at the School while adhering to budgets, providing of human & capital resources to support teaching and learning, examinations officer in the School, ensuring programme rules and policies are adhered too, ensuring qualifications offered are accredited as well as responsible for registration of graduates with the professional councils, HPCSA & SAPC. I also have delegated responsibilities of serving as a commissioner of oaths. Nosipho applies her planning, organizational, teambuilding and communication skills in ensuring effectiveness and efficiency in her duties and those that she leads.
Experience
I have 15 years administrative experience in the higher education sector working with undergraduate students from registration to graduation. My roles span from technical experience in the laboratory, to providing academic support for student retention through to the my current role of managing 8 programmes in the School of Health Sciences. I lead the administration teams in the undergraduate and postgraduate offices ensuring excellent service delivery to our clients in attending to their enquiries, processing of marks, examinations, student support and event planning. I provide administrative support of a varying capacity to the Teaching and Learning and Research Academic leaders in the School and ensure that policies and rules are being adhered too in all aspects of the student's life cycle. I am also involved in the accreditation of the 8 programmes with the professional councils, DHET,CHE & SAQA.

I have an Honours Degree(NQF8) in Medical Sciences(Anatomy) obtained at the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
