  • Attend Daily Operations Meetings with production personnel to address priority equipment repairs.
  • Attend Asset care meetings to identify top 3 downtimes for each asset, identify root cause of failure through RFCA method, identify PM schedules related to down time, review PM works instructions, improve/develop new PM schedules, coach/train engineering team members.
  • Arrange & Planning of transformers & Generator services with service providers.
  • Play an active role in processes aimed at maximizing equipment reliability & reducing the cost of maintenance.
  • Plan & allocate works orders for all electricians to ensure adequate artisan utilization. 
  • Liaise with OEM to identify & purchase critical asset spares.
  • Maintenance service requests validation, raising works orders, tactical resourcing, work package scheduling and execution.
  • Perform PLC and VSDs backups (Siemens S7 400/300, Allen Bradley &   Omron PLCs) - VSDs installation (Basic applications) & troubleshooting (KEB, Siemens MICROMASTER MM440, Control Techniques SP & m70x series, Allen Bradley POWERFLEX series, Schneider PAC drives.

  • Attending to schedules and do the tasks to the letter.
  • Attend and resolve Electrical problems/issues within reasonable times.
  • Repair and /or restore electrical equipment to acceptable /original standards.
  • Attend to planned shuts, breakdowns and be prepared to work standby on rotational basis.
  • Maintaining high standard of housekeeping, OHS standards and quality.
  • Performing daily asset inspections, condition- base-monitoring on applicable electrical equipment, utilizing vibration analysis, thermal cameras, etc
