Le'Mar Griffiths

My name is Le’Mar Griffiths and I am a recent graduate from the University of Johannesburg, I recently completed my Bcom degree in Economics and Econometrics and I have always had an interest in economics even early on in my academic career from about the time I was in high school. At the moment I volunteer at the University of Johannesburg’s Public & Environmental Economics Research Centre (PEERC) in order to gain more experience in the economics field with particular focus on economic research. I also possess some work experience as I completed a 12-month learnership in short term insurance before attending university to pursue higher education, during this time spent working I gained valuable experience and knowledge with regards to working with people and clients as well as how to conduct myself on a professional level in a corporate environment as one of my main duties was to assist clients with their claims and documentation. 

I am an enthusiastic, hardworking individual who is logical and analytical in my problem solving and who if given the chance can prove to be a worthy asset to any company.

I finished high school in 2017 with a Bachelors pass as well as 3 distinctions. I then went on to study economics and econometrics at the University of Johannesburg and graduated with a 66.1% GPA.
