I am a qualified educator and currently awaiting the results for my Masters in Education (Special Educational Needs). I have more than twenty years of experience in education and I have experience in lecturing. 

I am passionate about empowering teachers to support learners with special educational needs and barriers to learning and in teaching reading comprehension. 

I have also had the opportunity to train teachers in ICT, emerging tools and Tablets for the Foundation Phase. 

More than 20 years of teaching experience in mainstream schools, special needs schools (intellectually challenged and aural deaf) and in Learning Support. 

I lectured Communication at the University of Cape Town in the Engineering Faculty. I also lectured Grade R practitioners at Cape Peninsula University of Technology on a part-time basis.
