With my 12 year experience as Personal Assistant in the mining industry in South Africa I believe I have great qualities that I can offer your firm.   

Professionalism, understanding of confidentiality, productive, enthusiastic, energetic, ambitious and great at multi tasking.   

Who ever said a South African can't excel internationally.  Not many.  

I started in the telecommunications industry at 18 years old as receptionist.  I was promoted to the Secretary/PA to Sales Director of an entire sales team of 8 employees.  Very target driven and all the administration for the department. 

I left and started my career(s) in the mining industry as a PA to Regional Manager of Western and Eastern Cape in Durban for an  Engineering Company.  I was head hunted to work for a company in Cape Town called Malans Qaurries.   They combined 2 companies and Afrimat was the name of the firm.   

I moved closer to the head office and worked as the PA to the General Manager.   In my time at Afrimat I became very familiar with the sales side of selling mining equipment and was now a PA and did internal sales.  

2 Directors visited from Johannesburg and they offered me a position in their company to be the Representative/Sales Engineer for their Cape Town branch.  I accepted.  

As the Covid placed much negativity on the world I used it as an opportunity to go back to school.  I chose to study the TEFL Level 5 Teach English in a foreign country or online.   As a native English speaker I was going to nail this and travel.
