About Laurette Souter:

My name is Laurette Souter. I work in Facilities and Occupational Health and Safety and have had the privilege of travelling to 33 countries, which has broadened my outlook on culture, faith, and community. I’m passionate about safety, personal growth, and nature — spending much of my free time studying theology and hiking.

I am an accomplished Facilities Management and Occupational Health and Safety professional with over eight years of experience overseeing compliance, office builds, and renovation projects. My background spans hotels, office spaces, warehouses, and workshop environments, where I have consistently delivered safe, efficient, and well-managed workplace solutions.  I would also be happy to provide further details on my international and local hotel industry experience, which is not included in my CV.  

As an open, fair, and team-oriented leader, I have successfully led teams of up to 45 direct reports, 50 contractors, and dedicated Health and Safety staff. I bring strong physical stamina, excellent health, and a proven ability to manage complex operations while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
