Laurencia du Plessis

Just a little bit about myself, my name is Laurencia. I am Afrikaans traditional lady; In 2012 I had an accident having a fondue dinner. I got injured badly and was hospitalize for almost 3 ½ months at the burn unit at Milpark hospital. I was supposed to get Married in 2013 March but with the accident the wedding got moved to October 2013.

I then went through a miss carriage with our first baby; and now I have 2 beautiful babies. After the accident and the wedding everything was going very well. I had a small relapse and had falling into a small depression. Which I am now totally fine and better and this does not affect my day-to-day responsibilities and working abilities. It actually made me a stronger woman today.

It seems on my CV that I have moved a lot in my careers; but I just haven’t found the right job for me. Also, after the miss carriage; I stayed home with my 1st baby; and then needed to start under in my career again. All my choices I make in my life is for my family, I just want the best for them.
