Lara Reeves

My name is Neil Reeves and I am looking for work in the construction industry. I am currently self-employed and run my own contracting company called Reeves Coating Services. I specialise in building, renovations, waterproofing, painting, dampproofing etc. I started my company in 2005, but due to fluctuating project opportunities in a very volatile industry, I am now looking for a more stable income and permanent or contract work in a management role. I am currently based in Randburg Johannesburg, but willing to travel.

I am highly experienced in all areas of coatings, construction and contracting. My strengths lie in project management and ensuring that the timeline of the project is adhered to and successfully completed within budget. I am an excellent communicator and am comfortable liaising with staff, labourers, contractors, professionals, as well as clients. Pricing and sourcing materials and goods are carried out with ease, and over the years of running my own company, I have become extremely efficient and secure in my knowledge of complex projects, specifically with high-end residential construction; including but not limited to painting, coating applications and methods, waterproofing and dampproofing.

I joined the hardware and painting retail industry after matric as a manager at various paint and hardware stores. In 2005, I decided to venture out and started my own company in the construction industry focusing on building, painting and waterproofing.
