 I am confident that my previous experience and passion for helping people will allow me to excel in any environment. As a psychology graduate, I posses’ strong interpersonal skills, I am able to communicate effectively with people from all walks of life and believe that my emotional intelligence is a key strength that has assisted me to succeed in a variety of environments and situations. In addition to the aforementioned skills, I am a mature and responsible individual who is able to take ownership and deliver tasks in a timely and efficient manner.

During my volunteer work spanning 7 months, I worked closely with Clinical Psychologists, Registered Counsellors Doctors, and Nurses at Pholosong Hospital. My job entailed the provision of clinic administration support to the Psychology staff, general administration, booking outpatients and inpatients, managing tests, opening consultation files, compiling departmental statistics, processing purchase requests for the Psychology clinic, and liaising between medical staff and Psychologists regarding inpatients. Attended ASD/ADHD clinic, Multi-Disciplinary Team meetings, departmental meetings and took minutes during these meetings. I Presented on Cerebral Palsy, ASD/ADHD, and the role of Psychology at the Paediatrics summit presentation. I organized and led the Burnout

Awareness staff campaign and organized the Foetal Alcohol Syndrome Disorder awareness (FASD) for patients in the Ante Natal Care (ANC) ward.

I am a BA Honours Psychology graduate. I am highly motivated and have both practical experience and exposure within a hospital environment. I am well versed in conducting research, multi-tasking, and capable of working efficiently both individually and within a team. Some of my personal skills include having high emotional intelligence and empowering those that I work with. I would describe myself as a lifelong learner with a growth mindset and creative thinking.
