I am a content producer/ creator and journalist with nine years’ experience inreporting/writing for print, television, web and newsletters in both hard news and features stories. I have experience in Social Media Management, Public Relations,Stakeholder Engagement, Management of content for communication channels including the intranet, photography and videography including using latest technology devices.

I worked as a News reporter for the now Liquidated TNA MEDIA (The New Age) and the Newzroom Afrika. As a reporter, I was responsible for developing content that is informative, educational, entertaining and empowering. I was tasked with conducting research, setting the agenda with each story, brainstorming story angles, identifying subject matters, compiling of news, and reporting on air.
I have also managed outside broadcasts from a content point of view which involved stakeholder engagement, research and planning. Working on platforms has exposed me to adversity of people across the country.

Ensuring that
the department's internal newsletter (GDEUpdate) is readyfor publication on time.This also includes providing support to
a team ofjunior reporters,
managing content by assigning stories through diarymeetings, editing
reviewing of copy before publication to promote a goodimage to employees.
Ensuring that material is clear , consistent, completeand credible by w
riting, rewriting, editing and proofreading text to ensurethat 'house style' of writing is is adhered to.
Writing headlines, picture captions, story summaries and liaising withreporters and
sub-editors.
Verifying information and story details and meticulous attention to detail, grammar and spelling. Assist with compiling of content for promotional printed materials including brochures and flyers to promote the good image of the department.
