BSc Honours in genetics 

As a scientist I have the skills required to work in a laboratory. I am efficient and experienced with laboratory protocols and handling of lab equipment. I have worked as a laboratory demonstrator at the University of KwaZulu-Natal during my honours year of studying and gained many valuable skills. Some of these include good writing and presentation skills, efficient with Microsoft office , time management , how to work in teams and individually , knowledge of the laboratory SOPs and ISO standards that need to be followed and valuable practical laboratory skills. 

My education consists of a BSc degree with majors in microbiology , biochemistry and genetics which I pursued at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Thereafter I went on to complete my Honours degree in Genetics also at the University of KwaZulu-Natal which I obtained with a 70% aggregate.
