I am an accomplished Communications and Marketing Specialist offering over 20 years professional working experience. From developing overall communications strategies and producing targeted campaigns to spearheading PR efforts and utilising social media tools to maximise brand exposure, my expertise can be leveraged to enable successful marketing and communications strategies and help your organisation to achieve its fundraising and growth objectives. With the capacity to employ persuasive communication skills to influence public perceptions coupled with my proven history of developing trusting and lasting relationships, I am prepared to substantially impact the success of any organisation.

Experience

I have more than 20 years of direct experience in communications, public relations, and marketing. My extensive experience started as a journalist, going on to work within the corporate, agency and NGO sectors. My experience therefore includes all elements of marketing, PR, communications (incl. social media), writing, reporting and, stakeholder and staff management.


I have played diverse roles straddling all business development, fundraising, marketing and communications functions. In addition to writing everything from executive thought leadership pieces to sector specific marketing brochures, I develop and implement marketing strategies to raise the profile of an organisation.


My experience which includes supervising, motivating and managing a team, has also given me the proven ability to liaise, communicate effectively and work under extreme pressure to deliver results at the highest level.
