My area of expertise is Configuration, Documentation Management (Aircraft Aviation Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical & Electrical) with 31 years’ experience of which 18 years as Manager which included Technical Documentation, Technical Libraries, Archives, Project Coordination, Quality Audits, Specifications & ISO Standards Management.
I am a Detailed Data-driven Configuration Manager/Officer/Controller with a proven track record of Configuring the Maintenance, Repairs, Overhauls, Modifications and Manufacturing various Aircraft parts for all types of Defense/Military Helicopters & Fixed Wing Aircraft used by the South African Air Force (SAAF) over the past four decades (40+ years).
I am passionate about my work and enjoy what I do, I am extremely motivated and that drives me to always do my best. I consider myself to be highly organized and it is these organizational skills that helps increase efficiency and effectiveness for both me and the team to impressively progress towards the set goals, targets and ultimately the success and the growth of the entire organization.

• Familiarity with project management principles, document flow and reporting requirements.
• Knowledge of data quality principles, metadata management and auditing techniques and requirements.
• Awareness of relevant industry standards and procedures related to technical document control and change control.
• Proficiency and competent in MS Office Suite, eB, Qmuzik and limited know-how on SAP and Windchill.

Summary of the time in my career I spend with Denel:
I started my career as an Aircraft Apprentice on 11th January 1982 at Denel Aeronautics (previously Denel Aviation, Atlas Aviation and before that Atlas Aircraft Corporation)currently a Division of the Denel Group - State Owned Company (SOC) Ltd. in Kempton Park South Africa.
Up to and including 31st October 2024 was still working on the same premises for the same company although I went through several job titles and the company went through several name changes over the past four decades (40+ years).
Last position was at Halcon LLC which is part of the EDGE Group in Abhu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Started 04 November 2024 to 31 January 2025 as a Senior Configuration Officer.
Key performance indicators and responsibilities were the following:
- On-the-job training on Windchill PLM and SAP ERP.
- Verify the completeness of approved changes in configuration documentation change process.
- Review current system documentation and propose improvements.
- Worked with Project management teams to gain an in-depth understanding of their Configuration Management requirements.
- Perform internal Configuration Management self-audits and resolve corrective action findings from Quality Assurance Audits on CM department.
