Kirshni Kulsen

I think I'd most accurately describe myself as someone who is spirited, passionate and intentional. More accurately, I would describe myself as a twenty something year old freshly out of university trying to navigate my career. I completed my studies at Stellenbosch University where I majored in English Studies as well as law (this was possible because I studied BA Law in my undergrad.) The values I hold dear are open-heartedness, compassion and genuine fulfillment. I wear these values on my sleeve and I believe it makes me an asset to any work environment. English and anything relating to it, has always been my passion and I cannot wait to build my career. 

As I'm a recent graduate, most of my professional experience is comprised of part-time employment. During 2018 up until 2020, I worked as a cashier. This is an entry-level job I'd recommend to everyone undertaking at least once in their life as it engrains in you a new level of respect for anyone working in a service position. In 2021, I worked part-time as a social media influencer recruiter and this was the first time I could experience and learn about the work that takes place behind the curtain of any social media platform. In 2022, I worked as an English Online Tutor. I met people from across the world, I could share my love of literature and this experience, in its entirety, was a passion project for which I will always be immensely grateful. 

I majored in English Studies whilst completing my undergraduate degree in BA Law. I believe this program curated my love of language and fine-tuned my ability to articulate myself well both verbally and as it pertains to written communication.
