About khumo mokgeledi:

My name is Khumo Mokgeledi. I was born and bred in Boshof in the Free State. I went to study Computer Clerk at Boston Business College in Bloemfontein after completing my matric in 2004. I started working at Pep Store in Boshof 2010 and 2013 I worked at Tokologo Local Municipality as a Cashier. 2015 I was promoted to be a Debtors Collection Clerk and later that year I assisted with Payroll until I acted as Payroll Officer from December 2016 until January 2020. In February 2020 I got a position as Payroll Officer until now.

I recently completed my Higher Certificate in Economic and Management science at Unisa and also completed my Diploma in Municipal Financial Management Programme, NQF 06 at Kgolo Institute.  Furthermore, I am currently studying my Diploma in Human Resources Management at Unisa and I also completed short course in Payroll and Monthly SARS Returns.

I am a determined being who works very hard to get things done, very focused and dedicated to what I do. I give my best in everything that I do and I would love to explore and to grow in your institution.  I am looking for something new, also looking forward to the challenges as I love challenges. I work well under pressure too. I am willing to relocate.

Experience

I have completed my Diploma in Computer Clerk and Higher Certificate in Economic and Management Sciences and currently studying Diploma in Human Resource Management at Unisa. I have completed a Short Course in Payroll and Monthly SARS at Oxbridge Academy and also have Certificates in SAGE 300 People and VIP Premier. I have a National Certificate in Municipal Financial Management.  I am now seeking an opportunity to expand my knowledge.  My current position Payroll Officer has been a great introduction to working in an office environment. I have been employed full-time and have learnt all the basics, including dealing with clients (3rd Parties), dealing with Employees Queries, answering phones, photocopying, filing, Reconciliation and submitting EMP201 on efiling amongst other things. Additionally, I also developed great customer service skills through my previous position as a Cashier and Debtors Collection Clerk at Tokologo Local Municipality.

I am a proficient computer and Internet user and am familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel. I would consider my strengths to be my written and verbal communication skills, my high attention to detail and my ability to always be well organised. I am a hard worker with an enthusiastic attitude and a loyal disposition. I work well in a team, am capable of taking initiative and working unsupervised, and have a flexible approach to my work.
