I recently just finished my qualification in BSc in Math Sc in MStat and Eco with Financial Orientation, from university of Johannesburg , majoring in Investment Management , Mathematical Statistics and Economics . As an inexperienced person in the field of investment, my first goal is to gain the necessary experience and to have growth in terms of knowledge in my field. I want to see myself as a CFA down the road. I want to learn all the ins and outs of investment and gain a better understanding of how investment works in practice, working with experienced investors and learning by myself. I yearn for new knowledge and experience, even if I have to start small. I am interested in a lot of how the world works and how it connects to my field . I can use R software, which is the software used for statistics practicals from second year to third year, Microsoft word, excel .

I volunteered as a mentor for the UJ ASABA Chapter mentorship programme and received a certificate for my work within the programme and UJ also won best ASABA Chapter at the ASABA Annual Conference 2022 , among other fellow universities . I also volunteered at Hope Church Auckland Park ,Serving food , packing sound equipment . I gained a lot in terms of social skills , being organised , being punctual and working very well and interacting with different kinds of people .
I also took it upon myself to learn how to invest and I invested in a few stocks (such as Datatec
Ltd) that did quite well . I know it may not count as work experience but I learnt a lot
through this experience but I still yearn for much more experience in the field of
Investment than what I know now
