About Khanyisa Kakaza:

I am currently a 4th year Bachelor of Laws (LLB) student at the University of Fort Hare, seeking seasonal employment. I am self-assured and skilled, and I am excited to apply the skills I have learned in a fast paced and goal-oriented workplace. I am eager to learn new things and further my professional growth and I am adaptable to different situation. I have worked as a sales assistant, I have also worked as a senior peer facilitator and I was responsible for administration of files, recording and analysing statistical data and being assistant to the TLC Consultant. Mentoring and guiding students, mostly 1 st year students and new facilitators into a constructive varsity and work experience.

2017- Sales assistant at Home mark at Cresta Mall, Johannesburg

• Worked on the sales floor, providing assistance directly to customers.
 

2019 – Class representative for Legal Skills (1st year-level) at the University of Fort Hare 

• Acted as a facilitator of communication, providing a conduit for feedback between lecturer and students

• Building meaningful connections with students from diverse backgrounds.
 

2021- Member of the Toast Masters Society within the University of Fort Hare.

  • An organization where I attained more leadership skills by organizing, conducting meetings and completing projects. 

2022 - Senior Peer Facilitator | Teaching and learning Centre, University of Fort Hare.

  • Participated in the Faculty of Law Moot Court – I took part in simulated court or arbitration proceedings which involved drafting memorials and participating in oral arguments.

I was a peer facilitator to first and second-year family law student. I was responsible for helping the students with assignments and test preparation.
