About Kevin Apiwe Sahluko:
Dear Hiring Manager
,
APPLICATION FOR 2 MONTH (WPBL) INTERNSHIP (Staring 1 September)
I am writing to express my interest in the in-service work opportunity for my workplace-based learning program. My name is Apiwe Sahluko, and I am currently a third-year student pursuing a diploma in Management and Project Management at CPUT (Cape Peninsula University of Technology)
As part of my academic requirements for my diploma program, I am required to complete a certain amount of workplace-based learning to enhance my practical skills and knowledge. Given my passion for the field of work and the desire to kick-start my career, I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to learn and contribute to your organization.
My previous academic accomplishments, and coursework, have equipped me with the fundamental concepts of management and project management. However, I believe that working hands-on in a professional environment will not only provide me with a practical approach to the concepts but will also allow me to apply my acquired soft skills that include teamwork, communication, and problem-solving.
As an individual who is determined and hardworking, I am confident that I can positively contribute to your organization by being a responsible team player and eager learner. My previous academic experiences have taught me the importance of discipline, attention to detail, and time management, traits that I believe will come in handy throughout my work placement.
I would be honoured to further discuss the in-service work opportunity with you, and I am available for an interview at your convenience.
Thank you for considering my application, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Best regards,
Sahluko Apiwe
