Kelly Chalmers

I am an outgoing and passionate professional with an Honours degree in Financial Management from Stellenbosch University. I bring a strong academic background coupled with diverse international experiences—I have worked in America, volunteered in Indonesia, and have a deep appreciation for different cultures and perspectives. I thrive in dynamic environments and am particularly drawn to roles that encourage learning and innovation. Beyond my professional pursuits, I love being outside, exploring nature, and embracing adventurous activities.

My professional journey has been enriched by diverse experiences in hospitality and customer service roles across South Africa and the United States. These roles, including waitressing at Skilpadsvlei Wine Estate and guest services at The Grand Lodge and The Nordic Inn, have sharpened my interpersonal skills and ability to deliver exceptional service in dynamic environments.

I completed a Bachelors of Commerce Cum Laude. Additionally, I have recently completed my Honours in Financial Management at Stellenbosch University. I am also honored to be a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society. My thesis focused on the impact of sustainability on capital structures, providing me with deep insights into Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors and their integral role in modern business practices. This experience has greatly enhanced my understanding of the intersection between financial management and sustainability.
