Good day, I am excited to see this open position. I would like to use this section to introduce myself and explain what I have to offer. 

I am a keen agriculture and technology enthusiast, I matriculated in 2016, I am currently 25 years old. After leaving school I began studying computer science through UNISA as I found myself good with problem solving and saw a bright future in the industry. During my studies I found opportunities to earn money to support my studies. In August of 2019 I got an offer to start and manage a macadamia nursery. I took the opportunity with open arms as I have a passion for agriculture. This was by far the biggest challenge I had faced. the nursery was still in early stages of development, With time I implemented all the policies and procedures we use today and reached a high level of production. I built a client base, focused our energy on providing quality trees for farmers and made the business very profitable. during this time i also oversaw all building work/ new developments with our own internal building team. 

Other then the nursery I manage the farms bee hives(17 currently), as well as two regenerative farming projects aimed at food production. I have a keen interest in electricity and put myself up to fix any problems we get around the farm, I've learned house wiring, single and three phase motors, and just general problem finding. I also ensure our office computers, camera system and all IT related stuff works and stays working. 

I offer something very different as I have the backing of both farming experience as well as a good eye for innovative tech. my long-term dream is to advance the way we farm by introducing tech that can simplify tasks as well as build meaningful data, I believe this will also help us farm more sustainably. My CV details the tasks I currently perform. 

I am agile and can operate under pressure. I have learnt good communication skills and am able to get along with many people. I speak English and Afrikaans I find myself stagnant at my current job, with minimal opportunity to learn more. I am keen for a new challenge and would like to relocate to the Western Cape. 

I hold no bad habits, I am an avid long distance runner. Im keen to learn and have an open mind
