As a Mineral Resources Consultant, I gained experience in exploratory
data analysis and validation, geostatistics geological modelling, block
model creation, estimation, report writing and reviewing of Mineral
Resources I have completed several models in a variety of
commodities Mineral Resources specific commodity experience
includes chromite, coal, diamonds, iron, lithium, vanadium and zinc
As an Exploration Geologist I gained experience in core logging and
sampling according to SAMREC/JORC/NI 43 101 compliant protocols
Tasks included field mapping, trench logging and sampling,
interpretation, geological and geotechnical logging and sampling of
core, capturing data, data validation, on site Logchief system
management, drillhole planning, technical report writing, QA/QC of
assay results and drill site and contractor management, including the
health, safety and environmental management of drilling activities
I have been involved in the compilation of standard operating
procedures as well as chairing and co chairing health, safety,
environment and community ( meetings, ensuring all
environmental/rehabilitation measures are in place including regular
site rehabilitation inspections
As a Database Geologist, I set up, designed, managed and
maintained databases using Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL and
Maxwell Datashed My tasks included database set up and design,
importing and exporting data, database validation and backup, QAQC

I have my Master of Sciences degree from the University of Cape Town specialising in Geochemistry and Structural Geology. I am currently completing my Master of Engineering in Geostatistics with the University of the Witwatersrand.
