Kay-Leigh Lewis

I have been working in the retail industry for the past 2 years and am looking to learn new skills and experience. I am a hardworking and passionate post-graduate and have been a sales supervisor for the past year. I am passionate about business and marketing in general and hope to soon build a career in that field. I am also an excellent planner and have great confidence in my organizational skills. 

I started my working life as a sales assistant at Lush Cosmetics, where I was able to learn skills in visual merchandising, sales, and how to be a team player. It also greatly helped me to improve my interpersonal skills and allowed me to learn how to interact with different types of people. A little over a year later I was promoted to supervisor at the flagship store in Sandton city. During my time in this leadership position, I acquired skills such as training, planning, organizing, and conflict management. I grew tremendously through this time, learning what it means to be a leader and good coworker. My two years in retail taught me a lot but I am now ready for another challenge. 

I studied a BCom in Fashion at Stadio School of Fashion, formerly known as Lisof. This basically gives me all the same qualifications as the standard Bcom such as marketing and brand management, Consumer buying behaviour, project management, etc. with the added benefit of specialty in the fashion industry.
