Experience

In the expansive realm of communication and administration, I charted a remarkable course characterized by dedication, skill, and unwavering commitment. Rooted in a strong academic background and enriched by practical experience, my journey is a testament to my passion for excellence. Graduating from North West University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and a second major in Psychology in 2015, I have laid the cornerstone for a multifaceted career journey. This academic achievement equipped me with a deep understanding of effective communication dynamics and the intricate workings of human behavior, a synergy that would prove invaluable in my professional pursuits.

My voyage embarked as a Communications Intern at the North West Office of the Premier, where I was immersed in the dynamic world of effective communication strategies. Guiding client representatives through the nuances of impactful communication, skillfully handling media inquiries, and meticulously refining organizational publications, I swiftly developed a comprehensive toolkit for navigating the communication landscape. Transitioning seamlessly, I assumed the role of Senior Admin Officer for ECD Services at the NW Department of Education. Here, my meticulous attention to detail and adept organizational skills came to the fore. Balancing records management, database systems upkeep, and the delicate task of stakeholder relationship management, I played a pivotal role in maintaining the operational integrity of the unit. A pivotal juncture in my professional trajectory was my tenure as the Acting Personal Assistant to the Deputy Director General at the North West Office of the Premier. Juggling an array of responsibilities, from deftly managing calendars and orchestrating intricate travel logistics to crafting effective communication on behalf of the office, I exhibited a remarkable ability to navigate complex challenges with finesse. Continuing my journey, I embraced the role of Secretary to the Director of Research and Curriculum Development, further showcasing my prowess in effective administration. Here, I expertly analyzed incoming documents, maintained meticulous filing systems, and lent invaluable support to various administrative functions, all while upholding the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency. Beyond my professional roles, my linguistic versatility in English, Setswana, IsiZulu, and Afrikaans served as a bridge connecting diverse communities and facilitating meaningful interactions. My tenure as a Journalism Intern at North West University polished my communication finesse, enabling me to collaborate seamlessly with editorial teams, conceive engaging narratives, and contribute significantly to a range of publications. My journey in communication and administration stands as a testament to their unyielding dedication, versatile skill set, and persistent pursuit of excellence. With a solid foundation, practical experience, and a wealth of accomplishments, I continue to make enduring contributions as a Communications Specialist, leaving an indelible mark on the dynamic world I navigate with such finesse.
