I hold a Bachelor of Geomatics (GISc) degree from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, where I developed my passion and skills for Geographic Information Science, remote sensing, hydrographic data, environmental modelling, and town planning. I am particularly interested in using geospatial big data, machine learning, and cloud computing (Google Earth Engine) to study environmental change, especially wildfires and flood risk dynamics in urbanized landscapes, to support decision-making around sustainable development programs. My goal is to pursue a career in GIS that allows me to contribute to the social and environmental well-being of South Africa and beyond.
