Internship - Print Guru 

I was responsible for a variety of tasks during the two-week period at our printing company. These included but were not limited to:

1. Loading Plates and Paper: My primary responsibility was to load plates and paper into the printing machine. This task involved understanding the machine's specifications, aligning the plates correctly, and ensuring the paper was properly set up for printing.

2. Basic Design Work: I was also given opportunities to perform basic design tasks. This involved utilizing graphic design software to modify existing templates and create simple layouts.

3. Job Shadowing and Questioning: During the majority of the internship, I shadowed my mentor to observe his workflow and tasks. They were proactive in asking questions about the technical aspects of printing and design, seeking clarification where necessary.

Diploma in Media Practices specialising in Graphic Design

During my tIME at Boston Media House I learned the technical side of doing graphic art via digital means – mostly concerned with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator but includes InDesign as well as certain Web layout programmes.
