I have extensive public sector (PFMA/MFMA) audit and consulting experience obtained over more than 10 years. 

My key achievement as a financial expert at Local Municipalities is assisting to improve Audit Opinion at  various local municipalities indicated on my CV. I have extensive experience in managing internal and external audits. I have experience in managing audit improvement programs and preparing of AFS. I have assisted municipalities on preparation on review of SCM and other finance policies, SOPS and checklists and workshopped the documents to council and MANCO and trained the relevant employees on the application. I have developed Clean Audit Strategies for municipalities to implement. I have successfully performed a gap analysis, developed a clean audit project program, and implemented the program at various municipalities which improved their audit opinion. All this experience has allowed me to work with councillors, municipal managers, finance staff, PMS, Audit Committee and MANCO.
