I offer clients assistance with CIPC (Company and Intellectual Property Commission) services, board meeting administration, dictaphone typing, minute taking, policy writing as well as comprehensive company secretarial services. Designing and updating all forms of board policies and charters, and interacting with senior executives of the various organisations to ensure that these governance instruments are aligned to the business strategy and operations.

Compliance and implementation of King IV™, and providing input and drafting various sections of the Integrated Report. Also ensuring that all policies and external organisational reports subscribe to the highest standards of governance as they pertain to each industry sector.

I have been actively involved in the implementation as well as training related to the governance frameworks. This involves researching various aspects of the client’s Governance Framework as well as providing recommendations on improving the systems and procedures within the organisation in question.

Experience

I am an experienced Group Company Secretary with a demonstrated history working in the Public Sector, Financial Services Sector as well as Broadcast Media. Over the past decade I have gained professional skills and expertise in Corporate Governance, Company Secretarial Practice (full function inclusive of but not limited to, providing guidance and advise to the Board of Directors on matters of governance and ethics, providing insight into the non-financial section of the Annual Integrated Annual Report and providing minute taking and meeting management services), Stock Exchange Regulations and notices, CIPC Registrations and Policy Development. I served as the full time Group Company Secretary for eMedia Holdings Limited and its subsidiaries from October 2014 to March 2018.

Education

CIS II, I am looking to apply for exemption from the Financial Accounting Subject which is no longer part of the curriculum after which I will register to write my Board exams in order to finalise my CIS Qualification.
