I am a Registered Nurse who is applying for an HCA job. The reason why I am not going the Nursing route is because: In 2012 I migrated to Swaziland where I worked  for 7 years then came back to Zimbabwe in January 2020 when Swaziland phased out foreign Nurses Practice. Since the time I came back, I am still waiting for re- registration with the Nurses Council of Zimbabwe. The process is at a stand still, no progress at all. The indefinite waiting is killing me mentally since I am used to being around patients helping them, the greater part of my life.

Having worked as a nurse for close to 29 years, I believe I have all the qualifications and skills needed to provide quality care to the patients in need. I am a very hard worker who is flexible enough  to work in any department on any shift. My Counselling and communication skills are top notch. I believe I will be a great asset to your company.

My plan is to work as HCA while I wait for my re-registration and once it's through I will start the process of registration till I finish the process. I believe this will probably take me more than 2 years and I don't have a problem continuing as HCA.

 

Worked as a Nursing Assistant for more than 20 years in hospitals clinics and communities. Perfomed duties similar to Carers duties. Also volunteered in Community Health sevices for old people,disabled and terminally ill patients
