Johanita is an experienced professional manager, a proven entrepreneur,
and a skilled project manager. She offers 21 years’ experience in
management positions, a Master’s degree in Business Management and
Administration (MBA), and a Master’s degree in Education. Johanita has
received numerous awards for her business acumen and has played a
leading role in the successful transformation of several companies. She
has the ability to identify and grasp a business opportunity, subsequently
capitalising on the concern. Johanita is a strategic thinker and au fait with
the development and effective execution of business plans. Johanita
performs well under pressure; certain that she will achieve her personal
and professional objectives, assisting subordinates to reach the same.
She is comfortable with creating and implementing policies and
procedures, and delivers continuous, positive results. Johanita has the

I have 20 years’ experience as the Managing Director of Lone Creek River Lodge which has provided me with hands-on experience and the ability to effectively manage the daily operations within a hotel in order to ensure complete customer satisfaction and making sure that guests have a good first and last impression of the hotel. I have 20 years of marketing experience at international travel shows (ITB, World Travel Market) as well as the Indaba in Durban.
I am also a wine enthusiast and completed the Garagiste Winemakers Course at Stellenbosch University.
Furthermore, I have 7 years' experience as Business, Property and Estate Manager where I was responsible for the overall financial management and re-engineering of various financial processes and implemented many financial and operational policies to ensure the commercial sustainability of the businesses I managed.
