I initially served as a Warehouse Supervisor before advancing to the role of Fleet Supervisor. Additionally, I was entrusted by Senior Management to oversee the Durban Distribution Centre in the absence of a manager; while also overseeing the Fleet department, this experience highlights my versatile set of skills, supported by over five years in the logistics industry.
I have also previously served as a Contracts Manager, where my responsibilities included conducting site visits and collaborating with laboratory managers to ensure compliance and enhance operational efficiency. Additionally, I managed a team of drivers, which involved training new employees on safety protocols and company policies, as well as overseeing disciplinary measures when necessary.
I have successfully completed a training program in Operating Counter-Balanced Lift Trucks and possess advanced Excel skills. Additionally, I have undertaken a course in Fleet Operation and Supply Chain Management to further enhance my expertise in this field.
