I am a young and fully qualified electrician (red seal). I have strong theory background (N6) and I am in the process of applying for my wireman's licence. I have proven experience in the FMCG field and have a strong grasp on the demands of manufacturing, automation and instrumentation. I also have experience in domestic installations and diesel generator installation, maintenance and fault finding.

I am seeking work to increase my experience while providing valuable service for my employer.

I have a driver's license, code: 08 and have my own reliable vehicle and have no problem working in shifts or on standby.

I have worked on a variety of projects to support myself and increase my experience:

1. Installation, fault finding and repair on domestic and commerical installations
2. Installation, fault finding and repair of diesel generators. Which includes ATS panels, AVR and Electronic speed control setting, exposure to programming of deepsea and smartgen controllers.
3. The installation, mainenance and repair of a Compair         (LS 07 - 10 FS) air compressor 

McCain Foods   (Springs Plant) (March 2019 - Sept 2021)

I was registered as a electrical apprentice, during this time I was given instruction and taught by senior artisans and given increasingly amount of responsibility until I was completely self sufficient.

1. The preventative maintenance of electrical machinery throughout the plant based on a scheduled system.
2. General installation throughout the plant, includes wireways, cabling, lights, sockets.
3. I have also designed and installed various distribution boards and automation control panels throughout the plant.
4. The installation, maintenance and fault finding of VFDs throughout the plant. (Particularly Schneider and Allen Bradley models)
5. The installation and fault finding of PLCs (Particularly Siemens and Mitsubishi models)

1.  I have competed my unit standards and have been deemed competent for my wireman's licence. I am currently waiting for my certificate, so can apply at the department of labour.
