Jeremy Papier

I’m a Ba Sport, Recreation and Exercise Science graduate at the University of the Western Cape.

I’m currently working as a Verification Specialist in the online gaming and sportsbook industry. I started off working as a Customer Service Host at Digioutsource and has since developed a passion for Risk & Fraud in the online gaming industry. 

I previously worked  in the field of Special Needs. I took a liking to this field after encountering it in my Adaptive Physical Activity class and ever since it’s been a passion in my life to help special needs children. I believe that movement is a form of therapy and a way to express yourself and nothing brings more joy to me than seeing a child smile or laugh while expressing themselves through movement and play. 

I’m a sports fanatic and I enjoy watching and playing a variety of sports, my favourite sports obviously being sevens rugby. My favourite memory of this sport is when I represented Western Province 7’s in Kenya and UWC 7’s in France. I enjoy most outdoor activities and I’m especially fond of hiking and fishing. I like reading, Jonathan Kellerman & Wilbur Smith is by far my two favourite writers. I’m fluent in Afrikaans and English. I’m a hard worker and I pride myself in my determination. My motto in life is: “Success is a journey and not a destination.”

I’m currently running a community project where I offer High Performance Coaching and Skills development sessions to individuals who would like to further their careers in sports.
