Jenna-Lee Pretorius

I am a hardworking individual, I will always give my all in everything I do. I love hands on experience and also learning new skills. I am a passionate individual with quiet but also bubbly personality. I am a people's person. 

My biggest accomplishment thus far was living and working in Seychelles on one of the islands, La Digue for six years. I gained a great deal of experience and knowledge in the hospitality, guest liaisons, restaurant, reception and also the food and beverage industry. I got mentored by the owners Mr. Carl Mills, his wife Mrs. Lisa Mills and the late Mrs. Myriam St Ange. They provided me with on hand training and experience on how to run a hotel and different businesses. They got me to expand my knowledge in the six years that I was there by rotating me between their businesses, so I could gain experience in all fields related to the hospitality and catering industry. My last two years were the most memorable as I got to assist in running their main business the hotel, Chateau St Cloud. In those two years I learnt the ins and outs of running a hotel which included a restaurant/bar, kitchen, reception and rooms. I was also in charge of stock control and distribution for the kitchen and restaurant/bar. As well as all guest liaisons and staff relations. I also had the privilege of creating the SOPs for the hotel and making it compliant with the COVID regulations. 

I completed Matric in 2007, but have gained hands on experience with all the companies I have worked for and also worked my way up in the company.
