Jeneé Moreton

I have been in the IT industry for over 20 years ranging from working in a corporate environment to more recently running the IT department for an educational institute for the past 13 and a half years. I have 2 daughters, aged 18 and 21 with the youngest matriculated last year and currently at university. I am looking for a change of environment to grow my current skill set and also have the freedom to travel more. I am dedicated, hard working and definitely service orientated. I have strong administration skills and require minimal supervision; although happy to work as part of a team as well.

1999 - 2009: I started out on the IT Helpdesk; outsourced
at Telkom. During this time I obtained my A+
certification and started doing basic desktop
support as well. In 2002, I was outsourced by
BCX to the Cadbury site where i remained for
7 years. Duties during this period included the
following: Helpdesk support, including
remote support to other provincial branches. I
was elected the Asset Manager for South
Africa and Swaziland regions for Cadbury; I
was also elected as the Change Manager for
the entire EMEAA region for Cadbury's and
facilitated all changes including SAP,
Network etc.
Once I had obtained my MSCE certification;
Duties included server support, after hours
standby for the factories; anti virus support,
active directory etc.

2009 - 2023: Collegiate Girls' High School
After having my second daughter; I decided to
move to an environment that would be more
beneficial for family life. I have single handedly
been running the IT Dept for the school for 13
years now. Duties include but not limited to:
Desktop and network support - onsite and remote;
IOS and windows support across a variety of
devices for 720 pupils and 70 staff. I manage the
pabx support, printers, backups (VEEAM); wifi
network (HP Aruba & Cisco); Hyper V Servers;
CCTV (NVR's + approx 50 cameras); manage all
invoicing relating to the IT Dept, manage an
annual budget of approx 3 million; manage
external contractors; support data projectors,
apple tv's; finger print readers, have sound
knowledge of Office 365 and experience on the
Azure portal. Manage the O365 licences; manage
active directory and the creation of all users
onsite; have experience on managing the JAMF
backend for IOS devices. Maintain the backend of
the school's website (wordpress), including
updating the website regularly and setting up the
online purchasing platform for textbooks etc. I
also have sound knowledge of MS Teams.
