Jean-Marie Olwage

I have 16 years counselling experience. I currently run my own practice that offers an outpatient addiction program, trauma counselling, stress management, couple counselling and career guidance.

I worked for 3 and a half years' at an inpatient addiction centre as case manager and later became one of the directors. I currently run my own practice where I offer an outpatient addiction program, traum and couple counselling. I also work on a contract basis with a private hospital, offering counselling for the medical staff. While completing my honours degree in Psychology, I worked for 7 years in a spinal and neurological intensive care unit as an enrolled nurse. I am passionate about the field of mental health, especially addiction and trauma. I am a registered member of the BACP and the HPCSA. 

I have an honours degree in Psychology, I majored in Psychology and Criminology. I also have completed a diploma in enrolled nursing and a diploma in Deceptionology.
