Hilda Botes

My skills and experience can be listed as very diverse.  I have 35 years' experience in finance, have been in Local government of 19 years of which 5 was as a deputy director, 5 years in the banking sectors doing creditors, 12 years in retail. At the end of the year I will add my diploma as a tax technician to my current diplomas on Financial Accounting and Advanced Project Management. 

I have very diverse skills and would like to see myself as being developed by my career in finance, starting as a debits clerk in 1988, moving to creditors, then Housing administration and finance till I resigned and moved to Johannesburg in 2007. I started my career at Absa Technology Finance solutions in 2007 as a creditors clerk, till I got offered a better position at Studio 88 in 2012 as a creditor's supervisor. In 2014 I was promoted to Financial Administrator, in December 2022 I was promoted to Accountant and is currently, Since January 2024 a Financial officer.

I have acquired the following diplomas: 

Local Government law 1994-2002 PU vir CHO

Advanced Project management acquired 2002- 2004 at the Northwest University (Potchefstroom campus), 

Financial accounting in January 2019 at the Institute for certified Bookkeepers 

I am enrolled at the The Tax Faculty studying as a Tax Technician (completion date December 2024)
