I would like to give a brief introduction about myself as well as the reason for my application. 
I recently joined Garmin in South Africa as a Product Performance Technician Assistant. I am an adventurer, cyclist, trail runner and fitness influencer seeking an opportunity to contribute to quality of living of people around the world. 

As I am 37 years old I have had time to think about what I want from life. Currently, I enjoy helping people live a healthy, happy life through engaging in activities including running, cycling and exploring. Because of this, I developed a keen interest in ways in which to attract people to participate in fitness events. 

Previously, I worked for Discovery as a corporate health consultant as well as contractual site manager on their mass vaccination project arranging VIP vaccination experiences for CEO’s of major companies.

I possess high levels of communication and I have the ability to adapt to any work situation. Whether it is a janitor or the CEO of Discovery, I can adapt how I conduct myself and how I communicate without problems. I have completed a National Diploma in Sports Science as a sports conditioning coach as well as a SAMTRAC health & safety qualification through NOSA. 

I am currently involved in a 6-month project assisting Garmin with recruiting athletes, testing prototype units and capturing/processing data. 

As I am in the process of trying to accomplish personal growth in a time of uncertainty, it is my ambition to join a company where I can live my values, be outside in nature and help people enjoy the little things in life we usually take for granted, i.e our health and wellness.
