Hannah Wilson

I qualified with a Diploma in Fashion Design from the Cape Town College of Fashion Design. 

Through the course, I realised my strongest capabilities were in the digital components of the course ranging from illustration, branding, designing and sketching. 

Since graduating, I have worked in the fashion industry as an Art Director in a small marketing team. I developed a Shopify store along with a series of collections for clothing and accessories (you can find the store - Qigong Fashion Store. Each collection had its own narrative and aesthetic and reflected the core vision of the company. 

I was offered a position to work as a Digital Project Manager at the Cape Town Fashion Council for over a year. This was a great opportunity to learn admin skills as well as gaining experience working for a government NPC.

Throughout working the past through years each job has required an understanding of managing social media as well as developing graphics and visuals for campaigns, paid ads and mailers. 

Last year, I took over South African Menswear Week's social media page at Week of Fashion SS24.
