Im Boipelo Mataboge An enthusiastic hardworking individual with vast knowledge in the Heavy Equipment Industry, Having worked on Volvo Construction equipment from an apprenticeship phase within the best learning institutions in technical training, to being a fully Qualified Earth Moving Equipment Mechanic. Took a giant leap into the Open cast mining scenery where I was exposed to a larger scale of mining & equipment to acquire knowledge in Planned Maintenance, repairs, compliance & Quality inspections, ensuring machinery performs efficiently & safely within OEM standards. With exposure to the SHEQ department as Part time SHE rep who has successfully completed Comsoc 1 & 2 its has given me knowledge that safety should by all means be adhered to within daily activities.

With over six years of experience in the industry, I believe that I possess the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in this role.

During my time at Babcock Equipment, I held two positions, starting as an apprentice and progressing to the position of Field Service Mechanic. As a Field Service Mechanic, I was responsible for carrying out Care & Maintenance COFs & Quarterly Inspections, while also serving as a Part-Time SHE Rep. In this role, I gained extensive experience in fault finding and repairs of electrical systems, hydraulic systems, brake systems, steering systems, cooling systems, air induction systems, engine parts and components, transmission systems, and drive train systems.

In addition to this, I also have experience in machine condition analysis using electronic analysis systems, such as Prosis, Vcads, and Matris. As an Acting Shift Chargehand/Foreman, I have displayed strong leadership skills and effective communication, ensuring that all work is carried out to the required standards and specifications. I have also maintained quality standards, while developing strong customer relations and report writing skills.

Furthermore, I possess sound safety knowledge and have a proven track record of ensuring safe and efficient operations in the workplace.

My objective is to develop relevant and competitive skills that will assist me in growing my career, while also helping the employer achieve their bottom line in a safe and efficient manner.
