Gill Myburgh

Completed my LLB degree in 2019. 

Worked as a administrative officer (property agency for work experience dealt with contracts and administration 

Worked as a financial advisor for Old Mutual until I got feedback from Legal aid that I am excepted to do my articles (clerkship) 

At Legal aid I completed my articles and worked as a candidate legal practitioner for 24 months doing various criminal courts (Franshoek, Strand, Stellenbosch ect). I did criminal litigation and drafting of legal documentation in both the civil and criminal section. 

After article I completed 2 board exams. I started working at Haaniem Johaar Attorney's to keep busy while preparing for my other 2 board exams. Here I was the legal assistant to an Advocate. I did all his drafting and attended at court assisting in preparations for matters. Consulted with clients who seeked advise. 

I left to focus on my board exams was offered a job opportunity in Paarl at Grobler Loubser where I consulted with clients, drafted and various other duties. I mainly dealt with maintenance matters, harassment, protection orders, civil evictions and criminal matters.
