I am a qualified Quantity Surveyor, looking for an opportunity to join an expanding organization where I can progress. I hold a National Diploma in Building and Civil Engineering Studies and specialized in Quantity Surveying, Building Administration, Building and Structural Construction and Building Surveying. 
my career. I have proven experience as a construction supervisor and in Quantity survey work. I have handled projects from initial phase up to completion. I have surveyed domestic dwellings and commercial properties. I am well-versed in aspects such as monthly costing, bill of quantities and project planning. I am very accurate, good record keeper and can monitor projects on an on-going basis for cost analysis.

I am currently working as a Quantity Surveyor in a Building and Civil works company called Umkai. My responsibilities are as follows: 

Meeting with clients to discuss the scope and scale of the project.
Conduct site inspections to ensure that proper measures are followed.
Traveling to job sites to gather information on materials, labour and other factors.
Collaborating with engineers, project managers and contractors.
Consulting expects to discuss cost estimates.
Participating in tendering process.
Identifying and quantifying all cost factors involved in the project.
Using computer software ( Excel) to calculate cost estimates.
Preparing and presenting cost reports for client.

Taking site measurements for compiling of Bill of Quantities

I have previously worked for a Property development company called Esona Sipho Investments as a Site Supervisor and my role was to coordinate construction work according to priorities and plans.
Produce schedules and monitor attendance of the crew.
Allocating general and daily responsibilities.
Guarantee all safety precautions and ensure that quality of standards is met.
Resolve problems when they arise.  Report on progress to managers.
Performing site investigations during the course of a project.
Recommending ways to reduce cost in the areas of labour and material. Compiling monthly cost reports
