I am also a qualified chemical engineer and through my 17 years experience in petrochemical industry I managed to grow from a process engineer to principal process engineer and leading a tier 1 project with capital of ZAR 6 (USD 0.5) billion.

I am a conscientious individual with experience in the petrochemical with a major focus on process engineering, process optimization as well as start-up activities on mega projects in the role of Principal Lead Process Engineer at Sasol Group Technology. My contribution in this role was the management of the process engineering function during the design, execution, start-up and commissioning of the Fischer-Tropsch mega expansion project worth in excess of ZAR 6 (USD 0.5) billion in the Sasolburg operations.

During my tenure, I was responsible for the design of process equipment and development of flow sheets, management of process engineering scope of work with the engineering contractor, supervision and mentoring of process engineers during the design phase, including process reviews, commissioning and start-up activities. I have been successful in my career by applying sound established engineering principles, the ability to define problems and formulate solutions, performing technical analysis using advanced software, development and application of tools, analysis and interpretation of large volumes of data in order to achieve solutions to meet project targets.

I provide technical direction and support by applying engineering and mathematical knowledge, technical and analytical. I thrive in a fast paced working environment. My interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships has enabled me to operate successfully at all levels in diverse work environments.
