Fernado Lenonyane is an aspiring multidisciplinary creative director his known for his luxury brand , LENODANTM , which is a multifaceted fashion house merging the undertones of high-end fashion with the boundless creativity of street wear ingenuity.
In 2017, he began his studies in GRAPHIC DESIGN at BOSTON MEDIA HOUSE, where he learned to work on a range of briefs including branding, web design, film and advertising. During his studies Fernado worked on various interdisciplinary projects which includes interactive design, art projects, album artwork as well as digital fashion collections for LENODANTM In 2018 , He founded his luxury brand LENODAN .
The notion behind LENODAN began as a visual case study to blend and explore various visual aesthetics ,initiated by Fernado’ studies in Graphic Design, to form a proudly locally made luxury label that collaborates with creative from various discipline to present their ideal self forth. In 2019, He began to experiment and work with various 3D software’s like Cinema 4D and Blender, Fernado worked more on enhancing his visual appeal for his footwear and handbag sketch concepts, “I chose to focus more on footwear and handbags as they are more widespread fashion statements both serving a blend of form and function and I was more appealed by the aesthetic appeal of these items.” –FERNADO.
In 2020, He began production for one of his earliest footwear design, which was exploring the Idea of “merging the undertones of high fashion with street wear ingenuity” , but the production was cut short due to financial issues and the manufacture closing down due to the pandemic. In 2021 , Fernado Focused more on photography .
During this time he was balancing his design work with his own creative output, by spanning into experimental films and photography which he achieved by exploring various techniques and D.I.Y methods like foil [to control lighting and shadows ] , wood boards and sublimated backgrounds materials for artistic direction and aesthetics ,he worked with aspiring models and friends for certain shoots.
In 2022, Fernado was selected as one of the TOP 40 EMERGING CREATIVES by Design Indaba after submitting various design work.
