Experience
With over 20 years in the legal industry, I have developed extensive expertise in fiduciary services, specialising in deceased estate and trust administration since 2004. By 2007, I gained full competence in estate administration processes from initiation to finalisation, as well as active responsibility for trust management. My duties have included drafting trust resolutions, managing trust assets and bank accounts, ensuring compliance with the Trust Property Control Act and FICA, and safeguarding the interests of beneficiaries.
My experience has strengthened my technical and analytical skills, legal writing and research abilities, and knowledge of key legislation such as the Administration of Deceased Estates Act and the Trust Property Control Act. I have successfully managed large caseloads under tight deadlines, demonstrating strong time and project management skills.
Starting my career as a messenger at a law firm in 2001, I quickly advanced to administration clerk, later building a long-standing career in fiduciary services. I completed my senior certificate in 2010 and pursued an LLB at UNISA in 2011, while continuing to grow professionally. In 2018, I established an NGO, simultaneously working as a freelance consultant for small law firms and offering pro bono fiduciary services to disadvantaged communities.
This career trajectory reflects consistent growth, adaptability, and a deep commitment to both professional excellence and community service.
